The time refuses to budge from 9:05pm to 10:05pm, or to any other Time Zone for that matter. I have my cookies enabled, but it still won't work. I am confused....

Yes, as admin you have to set the time zone twice - once in General Settings - that sets the correct time for guests (and for members who are not logged-in). Then as you discovered, you need to set it again via your profile, as do each of your members.

I've just changed it on General Settings on my forum now because I didn't know I had to do that. Thank you Steve.

There seems to be a problem across the Proboards forums with the forum time. If we set it to GMT+1, which is where it is supposed to be because we're now in British Summer Time, then the clock shows as being one hour fast. People are complaining about it from all over the place, including Australia and New Zealand. The way around it is to go into your profile and set the time zone to GMT+0, and for those of you who are admins, you would also need to go into General Settings and set your global forum time to GMT+0. Having said that, you will probably just finish doing it and then Proboards will fix whatever the problem is, and then you will need to put it all back to GMT+1 again. P.S. This started yesterday, and the reason for that is because the clocks in the US (where the servers are based) didn't go forward until a week after ours did. So that was yesterday, and when the clocks on the servers jumped forward by one hour, they pushed the time forward by one extra (unnecessary) hour on all the forums across the world. Isn't modern technology wonderful. ;D

Thank you Steve. I've changed the time on my forum now. I didn't even notice though.

It is a good idea to make sure the time is right, otherwise people like me will be on for hours longer than we should be!!!!!

If the forum clock is reading an hour slow for anybody, just go into your profile page and set the box for 'Currently Observing DST' to 'Yes' and that should fix it.

And now of course, if you're seeing the forum time as being one hour fast then you'll need to go into your profile and change it back to 'No' for the 'Currently Observing DST' setting.
